- Hotel category, private versus shared guiding, your dates, and party size — a solo traveller pays the room, not half of it. Tell us your party and dates and we will price it properly.

- Weather, park regulations and flight schedules occasionally force a swap. We tell you before you travel, not on the day, and we replace like with like.
Who this trip is not for
We would rather lose the booking than sell you the wrong week. These are the reasons people come back from this itinerary disappointed, and all of them are predictable before you pay.
Anyone who assumes luxury removes the altitude
Cusco is 3,400 m whatever the hotel costs. The acclimatisation nights are in the plan for a reason and we will not cut them to add a day.
Anyone expecting private access to Machu Picchu
It does not exist. Entry is by timed circuit with a daily cap, the same for everyone. What the budget buys is the best time slot, the best guide and the train in a better carriage.
Anyone who wants to hike
This is the comfortable version. For walking, the Salkantay trek is the trip.
